Yes, in a fit of unmitigated wankery I’ve completely revised Chapter Thirteen yet again. I won’t bore you with the tale of my epic fight against reason. Let’s just say this draft was written in crayon.

The events are essentially the same. Though some of the emotions are inverted, the story begins and ends on the same beats as the last version posted. The big change is that I pulled one of John’s inner conniptions back from Fourteen to where it lived originally.

Fourteen is almost entirely dialogue and it was… right. I wasn’t going to get into gory details, was I?

Okay, Chapter Thirteen is new. Chapter Fourteen is on the way. Your patience with my angst is epic. Thanks times infinity for reading.

A very short story published on Mother’s Day in the U.S. and honoring Mothering Sunday in the U.K.

This is dedicated, with love, to everyone who remembers their mother as a portrait in their mind.

Wishing you blessings and joy.

“Regarding Violette”

Wowsers. Well, that was quite the… holy crap!… 20,000 word rocket sled. Lord amighty, I think I need a nap.

Any road, Part Four turned out to be much longer than it had any right to be, but I was having too much fun to stop. So there you go.

Part Four is at the end of Part Three and right before the advert for Story Two of the cycle which is not going to see the light of day for some time, let me tell you.

Yes, four. Oh, come on. You just knew it was going to happen, didn’t you?

Well, I decided after showing such amazing self-restraint in waiting so long to put the hurt on Holmes (You have no idea how much self-restraint that took. Elena does, though. ;D ) I deserved a little (okay, massive amounts of) self-indulgence. So I kicked out the jambs. It was ever so much fun.

But that meant I had four parts worth of material instead of three so I moved all the mushy stuff (and most of the “c” in the h/c) to Part Four: The Second Circle. Part Four will be up soon – it just needs some tightening up.

So all that’s just to say, Part Three starts below Part Two. Hurray for sequentialility!

If Part One was your basic gap-filler, here’s where things take a turn for the truly hinky.

Part Two: The Gauntlet features smoldering glances, thwarted desire, and fainting spells, plus a generous helping of ominous portents. It’s to be found at the end of Part One (conveniently enough) under the link to The Squire of Reigate.

Tune in soon for the staggering conclusion, crammed to the brim with Holmes h/c, action-hero!Watson, bullets, brandishments and a thunderstorm with a marked appreciation for dramatic effect. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I’ll just bet you were sitting there thinking, “You know, what this site really needs is another series.” Well, here you go. Wait! Hold those rotten tomatoes until I tell you what it is.

This is the first story in a cycle called Demons, Devils and Rogues, an AU retelling of three of my favorite canonical tales, beginning with The Reigate Squires. This first story is sort of The Reigate Squires meets Wuthering Heights. Oh, yes. There will be weather.

This one features lots and lots of Holmes h/c, action-hero!Watson, old flames, and fainting spells. I enjoyed the heck out of it.

I’m posting this story in three parts because it’s kind of large and I’m kind of evil. All three parts will be posted within a few days. Check back for Part Two: The Gauntlet and Part Three: The Price later in the week.

Edit: Because I’ll be writing stories in the world of “Intimations” for a very long time to come, I’m going to rename the series The Lestrade Chronicles to make it easier to follow.

Once again, something a bit off plumb. This was inspired by the research I did on the first story in the Policeman series, but is completely unrelated in just about every way that matters.

It’s in the form of a series of correspondences from the point of view of G. Lestrade and covers the length of his relationship with Holmes and Watson

.

It’s called Intimations and it’s the first in the series The Lestrade Chronicles.

Another birthday fic, this one for the lovely and talented Elina K who has just launched her own Holmes/Watson web site called Watson I’m Scared. It’s full of scrumptious art and fiddly bits of joy. Go! Revel! Lurve!

For her birthday, Elina requested a fic featuring Lestrade catching a certain couple “red handed.” At her instigation I have perpetrated the story What the Policeman Saw: Revelations.

Edit: Now I’m thinking this story’s too long for a compilation page, so I’m going to file it stand-alone. Links are updated below.

Well, it had to happen sometime. Birds gotta sing. Fish gotta swim. Porn gotta… squelch?

Yes, it’s true. The NC-17: Mature Content has arrived.

The first NC-17 story, The Courtship of Rabbits (NC-17), is not too graphic. Not too outrageous. Just some good old fashioned frolics in the great outdoors. (I’m trusting that everyone around here is old enough to police themselves, so take the warnings in your own head to heart.)

It’s theme day here in a small patch of mist. You didn’t know about that, did you? Neither did I! Not until I just happened to wind up with two mini-stories that feature pointy things. So here are a couple of brand new short pieces to avoid…

The first is called Just One Breath and it was requested by saswati who IM’d me to ask for a Watson h/c story featuring… dun-dun-dunnnn… a stabbing! Since stabbings are a personal favorite of mine (to a really, really worrying degree) I said, “Sign me up!” So that’s what that is.

The second is a new ficletette on the Quickies: Postcards from a Love Affair page. Holmes/Watson slash fan fiction

‘Ere now, wot’s all this then?

This blog supports the notion that Sherlock Holmes and John Watson had a thing for each other. If you'd rather not think about it, please hit your "Get me out of here!" button. Thanks
