What a wonderful romp! Having Watson share his adventures with Villard (who’s a great character) makes for twice the excitement. I’m so glad that Watson knows.

Whoa! That was awesome! Poor Watson — his shock was palpable. But what a brilliant adventure Watson is on. I loved Villard and I too keep looking at every other character, wondering if it’s Holmes. I know he’s around somewhere.

This is so intriguing. I’m defnitely excitedly waiting for the next bit.

Ahhh, intriguing! You have me staring suspiciously at every stranger now — the hulking driver, the elderly French lady, and anyone else who might conceivably be Holmes in disguise.

I love Watson’s bag of candied violets. The poor dear is making such an effort to enjoy himself.

I adore your characterization of Watson. Carrying around Holmes’ syringe like a taslisman. *sniffs*

You don’t have to say anything to make it sound interesting. This story just gets better and better. I love your dialogue, and even though I knew the bookseller wasn’t Voldemort (Runnymede Mews was reminiscent of Knockturn Alley, however) I still felt chills go up my spine at ‘the arresting shade of grey’. *whimpers*

Oh this is great! I love your description of grief, pain, mourning, and the heart. That is very vivid, very John, and very true. The angst has lightened indeed, but its nice to see him healing and slowly moving on. It was nice to see dear Mrs. Hudson as well. Very true what she said. And this Stamford…an interesting character very nicely portrayed…

Ooo…he’s going somewhere where they speak French? *has images of Holmes in a dimly lit bit lurking in the darkness and watching his dear friend*
