I struggled with that line because it pained me to write it. It just kept nagging and gnawing at me. Longest Night kind of sprang up out of it. So I don't know if the sequel is going to the place you wanted to see but I hope you'll find it worth the trip. “I’d love to see a sequel to this fic. Well done. Bravissima!”
