I'm really impressed. There are so many little details that make the whole thing just brilliant (Holmes and his aversion to glasses, Lestrade's family, Watson singing ;-), etc. etc.). The way you captured it all and connected it with the main theme is stunning. I also like Lestrade's narration (and the man himself - I've always had sentiment for him), especially his diary - it's believable, charming, sometimes funny and sometimes touching - pure perfection ;-D This way of seeing, of writing (slash or anything else) is realy rare and precious - I congratulate you. This is just gorgeous. I usually don't enjoy correspondence-style stories because the writing gets caught up in the idea, but you've pulled it off spectacularly.
