nlr alicia sez: Aw, man - thank you guys so much. I'm really glad the de-jumpering (pblazer, I'm totally stealing that word - I love it) came across satisfyingly. It was hard to be sure what was too much or not enough, you know?

When I'm not sure I usually opt to leave more to the imagination instead of interfering with the pictures that might be in your head, but it's really hard to know– wait I said that already. guh. inarticulate much?

Yay, chapter nine! I continue to like Seraphie the newly liberated. The opening scene with poor noncomprehending Watson staggering into the ring with two charging tyros was really well done. I like everyone characterizations very much! Sherlock Holmes, master detective-pah!

It's all wonderful, but I thought the passage where Watson can't bring himself to look into Holmes' eyes when he's being de-jumpered was particularly excellent. That was a very poignant, realistic emotion and was very well conveyed.

Keep going!

I'm still dead. The looks, the touching, the syringe, the jumper removal.... Eeeee!

I hope you don't feel any pressure to get the chapters posted quickly. I know how much work goes into the writing and editing of a story of this length (says the person who takes months, if not years, to finish her own stories). This is a wonderful tale and well worth waiting for. It takes me to the happy place. :-*

That's brilliant. C:

And I completely agree that Holmes is jealous. When he said that Watson called for Villard in the carriage -- yeah, definitely jealous. ;)

Can't wait for next chappie.
