You've been holding out on us... this story, even just the start is so beautiful in it's simplicity. I am just wowed, for lack of a better word. And when I say 'holding out', I mean know that I see that you are an awesome talent, I expect more Fives responses from you. I just adore Holmes and Watson and so I hope you won't mind that I came over to read. I love your beginning on this and I hope to find time to read the other stories on your page here. I love this part above all else, (He understood. He never asked for more than I could give. But what must it have cost him to offer up the key to that deep and echoing well of love inside him? To give it to a man who would tuck it away saying, “I will use this later. There will be time.”) It speaks to such a deep loss and to Watson's feelings of guilt. The idea that Watson might actually use that syringe of Holmes' is also very interesting. I do wonder what might be the result, death, madness, or delusion. I am looking forward to more of this. Is there a way to be notified of updates? I didn't see anything of that sort but I did bookmark your page so I can always just keep watch. I think I am really going to enjoy this.
